With more than five years of experience in the insurance industry, Katie Conrad serves as a Property & Casualty Account Executive at FRED Insurance, helping businesses navigate the complexities of insurance and risk management. As a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Producer, Katie combines technical coverage knowledge, strategic account management, and a client-first approach to help ensure insurance programs evolve alongside each business.

In her role as an Account Executive, Katie oversees client relationships throughout the insurance lifecycle—from evaluating exposures and analyzing coverage to coordinating renewals, navigating market options, and identifying opportunities to strengthen each client’s overall insurance program. She also serves as a trusted resource within her team, bringing leadership, problem-solving, and a proactive approach to managing client needs and complex accounts.

Katie began her insurance career as a producer in 2021 and quickly advanced into leadership, building and managing a book of business while leading a team of producers and customer service representatives. Before entering insurance, she built an extensive background in hospitality and customer service, experiences that shaped her ability to communicate effectively, anticipate needs, and find solutions in fast-moving environments.

Katie believes a strong insurance program starts with understanding the business behind the policy. Rather than simply comparing premiums or renewing the same coverage year after year, she takes the time to understand each client’s operations, exposures, priorities, and goals. Her focus is on building long-term relationships, providing thoughtful guidance, and helping clients make confident, informed decisions about their coverage.

Originally from Renton, Washington, Katie is a proud Washington State University Cougar and now calls Idaho home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and their dog.
