Our approach
If you're turning 65, losing employer coverage, or just trying to figure out whether your current plan still makes sense, the flood of Medicare mailers and phone calls is making it worse, not better. Most of that noise comes from national call centers that will never speak to you again after enrollment day.
We do it differently. We're contracted with nearly every Medicare carrier in Idaho, which means we can show you the full market instead of pushing one company's plans. We sit with you (in our Boise office, at your kitchen table, or on a video call), go through your doctors, your prescriptions, your pharmacy, and your budget, and help you choose the plan that actually fits. And we don't disappear. Every fall during the Annual Enrollment Period, we review your plan and tell you honestly whether to stay or switch.
coverage
Medicare Supplement (MediGap)
Works alongside Original Medicare to cover deductibles, copays, and coinsurance. Plan G and Plan N are the most popular in Idaho. No network restrictions whatsoever. See any doctor in the country who accepts Medicare. Freedom of choice is the whole point.
Medicare Advantage (Part C)
Replaces Original Medicare with a private insurer plan that bundles Parts A, B, and usually D. Often includes dental, vision, and hearing. Lower premiums but comes with provider networks, referral requirements, and prior authorizations. Right for some people, not for everyone.
Part D prescription drug plans
Standalone prescription coverage for people on Original Medicare with a MediGap plan. Every Part D plan has different formularies, pharmacies, and copays. We run your actual prescriptions through every available plan to find the lowest total annual cost, not just the lowest premium.
Special Needs Plans (SNP)
Medicare Advantage plans designed for people with specific chronic conditions, dual eligibility (Medicare and Medicaid), or institutional care. Extra benefits and care coordination tailored to specific situations.
Enrollment timing guidance
Initial Enrollment, Annual Enrollment, Special Enrollment, late penalties. The rules are specific and the consequences of getting timing wrong are permanent. We make sure you enroll at the right time and avoid costly mistakes that follow you for life.
Annual plan reviews
Medicare plans change every year. Premiums shift, formularies update, networks change. What worked this year might not work next year. We review every client's plan every fall at no cost and proactively tell you if a switch makes sense.
We learn your situation
Your doctors, prescriptions, pharmacies, health status, and budget. The details that actually determine which plan fits.
We compare the full market
MediGap or Advantage? Which Part D? We show you every option available in Idaho and walk you through the differences.
We review it every single year
Plans change. We check your coverage every fall and tell you honestly whether to stay or switch. No charge, no obligation, every year.
he mailers won't stop. But the confusion can.
Our team sits with you, walks through your options, and stays with you year after year. One advisor who knows your plan, knows your doctors, and picks up the phone when you call.
What Business Owners Ask Us Most
Your Initial Enrollment Period starts 3 months before the month you turn 65 and ends 3 months after. If you're still working with employer coverage, you may be able to delay without penalty, but the rules are specific. Call us before you turn 65 and we'll walk you through the timing.
MediGap works with Original Medicare and covers your out-of-pocket costs with no network restrictions. Advantage replaces Original Medicare through a private insurer, often with lower premiums but network limits and prior authorizations. The right choice depends on your health, your doctors, and how you want your coverage to work. We help you decide.
No. You pay the same premium whether you use us, go direct to the carrier, or use another agent. We're compensated by the carriers. Our guidance, plan matching, and annual reviews cost you nothing.
We run your actual medications through every Part D plan available in Idaho and compare total annual costs: premiums, deductibles, copays, and coverage gap costs. The cheapest premium is almost never the cheapest plan once your prescriptions are factored in.
You qualify for a Special Enrollment Period. You typically have 8 months from the date your coverage ends. Contact us as soon as you know your end date and we'll coordinate the transition.
